今 天老公叫我帮他做一个Kueh Lapis,因为他的公司明天有聚会，可是我的Baby Belling 烘炉坏了 ,我就第二次尝试用" 血 滴 子" 烘炉来烘 , 想不到用“ 血 滴 子“ 烘出来的Kueh Lapis 还蛮OK的.

以前我也是用 血 滴 子的 烘 炉来烘蛋糕。那时觉得烘了那些蛋糕还不是很满意，后来才买了一架新烘炉。Anyway, 烘了还不错嘛！。

今晚有人会来我家修理那架旧的烘炉，假如修得好，价钱合理的话，我就用回旧的，再买一架小的Turbo Oven, 如果要买全新的话，我的budget大概$300++ 。。

both your kueh lapis & pumpkin raisin loaf look great! the loaf not only healthy, the orange colour is also natural, does it have the pumpkin taste after baking? can see that the bread is very soft...
due to the centre coil, it appear that the round oven's heat is hotter from the centre, i suppose it is good for broiling and upper heat baking like kueh lapis & kueh bahru, am I right?

U are right this electric roaster
centre heat is hotter, that why the colour is not so even. I still prefer to use oven instead of roaster. Roaster is most suitable for baking chicken and char siew.
